In the middle of a very full holiday season, we created some space to simply be together.

No agendas. No productivity.

Just good food, laughter, and connection.

It was a reminder I come back to often—especially this time of year:

We are responsible for tending our own “yard.”

No one else can create margin for us. No one else can protect our energy.

If we don’t intentionally build in moments to refuel, we shouldn’t be surprised when we gas out.

Self-care isn’t indulgent. It’s maintenance.

And sometimes it looks like dinner with friends in the middle of the chaos.
